We are pleased to announce that Communications Electronics has recently acquired Communications Electronics of Virginia (CEV).
Based in Fairfax, VA, CEV is a provider of wireless communications in the Northern Virginia, Washington, DC area, and is a Motorola Solutions Channel Partner. This acquisition follows CE’s previous acquisition of Procom Corp. in 2017.
As part of Communications Electronics’ continuing expansion, the new acquisition of CEV grows the company’s enterprise sales reach into Northern Virginia and puts us one step closer in our plan to become one of the top 15 Motorola dealers in the country.
For CEV, this means new access to CE’s extensive technical and back office resources, allowing them to do more for businesses in Maryland, Northern Virginia, D.C., and Pennsylvania. In addition to CE’s wide-ranging service and engineering staff, CE services include In-Building solutions, which improve wireless coverage for mobile devices, first responder’s two-way radios and basically any wireless device inside buildings and campus environments.
Together, Communications Electronics, Procom and CEV sell and service more Motorola product in the Mid-Atlantic than any other Motorola Partner. We bring the highest level of technicians, engineers, installers and service resources to the region, and maintain the largest Motorola system in the Mid-Atlantic.
We’re excited to have CEV join our team as the premier wireless solutions provider in the Mid-Atlantic!
